Philadelphia Eagles and The Glory of God

As a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan, I have to admit that I wasn't really interested in watching the Super Bowl this past Sunday.  But, wow, what a treat it was!

To be honest, I did not think that the Eagles were going to beat Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.  Although the Eagle had a great regular season and an even better playoffs performance, there was still a large cloud of doubt on whether they overcome the "Goliath" of the NFL.

It was a very close game and a battle of two prolific offenses.  But, the Eagles' defense showed up and caused an important fumble that sealed the deal.

Although the game was historic from different perspectives, it was really the post-game dialogue amongst the Eagles' coaches, players and management that was so amazing!  In essence, repeatedly, all glory was given to God!  It was genuine adoration to our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ on one of sports' biggest nights.

Christ Jesus deserves all of the glory, and thank God that He had willing vessels (i.e., Nick Foles, Carson Wentz, etc.) who were unashamed to tell the world about His goodness!!!

Praise God and big congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles!!!
